An organised meet and greet at the region’s new Harley Davidson dealer on Quarantine Rd, Filco Harley Davidson, was packed to the brink on Sunday, October 7, when Greg ‘Kell’ Kelly rode in on his motorcycle with a host of local supporters.

Kell is making his way through the country on his Harley Davidson to raise awareness and funds for Younger Onset Dementia.

Delegate organiser and motorcyclist Steve Page was impressed with the turnout of riders who congregated at the dealership after escorting Kell into Nelson from Havelock.

Filco Harley Davidson’s dealer principal Dave Filer says it was a privilege to be involved in Kell’s ride. “To be able to meet this amazing guy and share his passion for Harley-Davidson, and to hear his story about his journey with dementia.  A big thanks also to the huge number of motorcyclists who rode and supported Kell during his time in Nelson.”

Steve says it was a beautiful day for a ride, a great chance for a meet and greet with Kell, and the perfect opportunity for riders to have a look at New Zealand’s newest Harley dealership!
