The Snowden’s Bush Trust, which is aiming to buy the frontage of the Snowden’s Bush Reserve from the Anglican Diocese, are almost on target for the $350,000 required to purchase the land.
They have recently been granted funding of $50,000 from the Stout Trust, proudly managed by Perpetual Guardian which brings them up to $302k.
“We’ve only $48,000 left to find so we’re on the home straight, says Snowden’s Bush Trust chairman, Jerry Cameron.
“Reaching the $300k mark is quite a milestone and we are definitely on the final leg of the fundraising journey. Every little bit now will help get us over the line,” he says.
The Trust aims to save the land from being converted into housing and preserve it for the enjoyment of the community.
They have until February 2021 to raise the $350k and buy the land.
