Members of the Top of the South Motorcycle Club kindly donated an $1800 cheque to the Nelson Marlborough Rescue Helicopter Trust last month.

The club held their annual Daylight Savings Ride to raise funds for the trust. It was their sixth annual fund-raiser ride.

Starting at the rescue helicopter base at Nelson Airport, the convoy cruised to Tapawera before heading to the Moutere and finishing with a beer at the Speights Ale House.

John would like to thank all the motorcycle clubs who participated in making it a memorable and respectful event.

“Eighty-nine riders registered for the ride and the feedback regarding the event has been nothing but praise.” Photo: Amy Russ.
