An upgrade of Brightwater’s Ellis Street will begin later this year and is intended to make the main street through the village a safer and more attractive public space. The total project budget is $1.9 million.

High school students from the Top of the South region get together today for the VAST Dance Festival. They will be able to do workshops during the day and perform to the public at Theatre Royal Nelson, starting at 7pm.
