Talented students from Waimea Intermediate performed for local primary schools last week.
One hundred and twenty students sang, danced and performed in kapa haka, in preparation for their showcase for the community on Thursday night.
Earlier this year they were the regional winners of Showquest Onscreen 2020.
The theme was ‘emotions’ and their student-led choreography was captured by drone footage. They also won the ‘magic moment’ section when they formed a smiley face.
There were many ‘magic moments’ last week from both individual performers and groups.
