The annual Pak’nSave Richmond Santa Parade is going ahead on Sunday 29th November.

With so many events cancelled this year, parents and children will no doubt be super excited to hear Santa, his reindeer and all the other floats in the Santa Parade, will be there making the parade happen.

Organisers of the event, Richmond Unlimited, are happy that repercussions from Covid have had less effect on the Pak’nSave Richmond Santa Parade because of ongoing sponsorship and the in-house organisation.

The parade begins at noon, heading down Queen Street from the Salisbury Road end. There’ll be floats and entertainment and the chance to meet Santa after the parade at Sundial Square.

A parade is made up of floats and the event organiser welcomes any business or community group to get involved by having their own float.

It’s a chance to show the community some festive spirit and to have some unlimited Christmas fun.

There is no cost to register a float. To register online, www.richmondunlimited.co.nz/float-registration-2020.

Spread the love.
