The 33rd annual Ulysses Nelson Toy Run is nearly upon us as the club start gathering support for Saturday, November 24, fund-raising event for the Salvation Army.
Usually exceeding around 300 motorbikes, the parade will leave Richmond’s Cambridge St carpark at 11am and finish at Nelson’s Trafalgar Lane.
Ulysses secretary Allan Smith says you can best see the parade from Queen St or Salisbury Rd.
The event sees participants gather new toys and donations for the Salvation Army to distribute to families in need at Christmas time.
“Everyone loves a parade, especially bikers, and our annual Toy Run is one of the best organised in the country with huge support from local police, which we are hugely grateful for.”
The Salvation Army will have collectors on the day accepting direct donations.
